Terms of Service

Last updated: July 25, 2026

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of SourcePRD — the website at sourceprd.com and the application at pm.sourceprd.com (together, the "Service"), operated by SOFTLINK LTD, the company behind SourcePRD ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service does

SourcePRD generates and maintains living product requirement documents ("PRDs") from source repositories you connect, detects drift between code and specification, and can act as a review gate on pull requests. The Service is currently offered in beta: features may change, be added, or be removed as we develop it.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use the application. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old.

3. Repository access

You connect repositories through the git providers' own authorization flows (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket). By connecting a repository you confirm you are authorized to grant that access. We use the access you grant to:

  • read repository content to generate and update PRDs;
  • read pull/merge request metadata to run the approval gate;
  • post commit statuses and review comments where you enable the gate;
  • register webhooks you ask us to set up.

You can revoke this access at any time from the Service or from your git provider's settings.

4. Your content stays yours

Your code, your repositories, and the documents generated from them belong to you. You grant us the limited license necessary to process repository content, store the generated documents, and display them to the people you share them with — solely to operate and improve the Service. We do not sell your content and we do not use it to train models of our own.

5. AI processing

Generating PRDs involves sending excerpts of repository content to third-party AI model providers (currently OpenAI and/or xAI) under their API terms. Generated documentation is produced by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete — it does not replace your own review, and you are responsible for decisions made based on it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access other customers' data, connecting repositories you have no right to access, reverse engineering the Service, disrupting its operation, or using it to violate any law or third-party right.

7. Plans, fees and billing

Paid plans are billed by the number of living PRDs in your workspace, as described on our pricing page. Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record: Paddle handles checkout, invoicing, applicable taxes, and payment data. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled per our refund policy. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

8. Free usage and promotions

Where we offer free usage (such as trials, free features, or beta access), it carries no service-level commitments. Pricing promotions (such as beta-user discounts) are honored as published on the pricing page at the time you signed up.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your projects at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Service or other users; where practical we will notify you first.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that generated documentation is accurate, that drift detection catches every change, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data. Our total liability for all claims arising out of the Service is limited to the greater of USD $50 or the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page (and by email for paying customers) at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel — without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
